چکیده
A magnetic field sensor was developed using the asymmetric giant magnetoimpedance (AGMI) effect. Amorphous ferromagnetic (Fe0.06Co0.94)72.5Si12.5B15 wires were used in this study. The 2-cm-long wire showed an approximately 88% effect, and 7-cm-long 197% When two micromagnets placed 1 cm from ends of wire, a distortion peak shapes GMI curve observed, asymmetry created by micromagnets. 148% AGMI simple new approach designed to develop sensor. In design circuit, signal generators arrange linearity dc offset output signal. circuit good zero hysteresis ± 250 A/m 50 regions for wires, respectively.

Gamma Irradiation Effect on Asymmetric Giant Magnetoimpedance of Co68.15Fe4.35Si12.5B15 Amorphous Alloy
The giant magneto impedance (GMI) effect is a large variation in the electrical impedance of a magnetic conductor when subjected to a static magnetic field. The sensitivity to the direction (AGMI) and magnitude of applied magnetic field and also linearity levels of this effect are three important parameters in magnetic sensors application. A suitable annealing procedure can be used to ac...
متن کاملGiant Magnetoimpedance Sensors
Magnetoinductive e ects in ferromagnetic conductors can be used for various sensors. Although the principle has been known for a long time, the usefulness of these e ects for practical applications was recognized recently, and intensive investigations began. Magnetoinductive e ects are related to magnetization of a magnetic conductor (wire, strip, thin lm, etc.) by a magnetic eld, which is prod...

This study sought to establish a convenient method for detecting biomagnetic activity in the heart. Electrical activity of the heart simultaneously induces a magnetic field. Detection of this magnetic activity will enable non-contact, noninvasive evaluation to be made. We improved the sensitivity of a pulse-driven magnetoimpedance (PMI) sensor, which is used as an electric compass in mobile pho...

Permalloy-based thin film structures are excellent materials for sensor applications. Temperature dependencies of the magnetic properties and giant magneto-impedance (GMI) were studied for Fe19Ni81-based multilayered structures obtained by the ion-plasma sputtering technique. Selected temperature interval of 25 °C to 50 °C corresponds to the temperature range of functionality of many devices, i...
متن کاملA monolithic field-effect-transistor-amplified magnetic field sensor
We propose and demonstrate the operation of a monolithic field-effect-transistor-amplified magnetic field sensor device, in which a tunnel-magnetoresistive ~TMR! material is incorporated within the gate of a Si metal–oxide–semiconductor–field-effect transistor. A fixed voltage is applied across the TMR layer, which leads charge to build up within the gate. Applying or changing an external magne...
